Description
Just as trees are essential to terrestrial ecosystems, corals are vital for seas and oceans!
These underwater ecosystems are home to 25% of marine biodiversity: over 2 million different fish species live there, including phytoplankton at the base of the marine food chain.
However, 20% of coral reefs are irreversibly destroyed. Of the remaining 80%, only 30% are in a good condition.
Since 2021, La Rosée has partnered with The Coral Planters, an association dedicated to combating coral reef destruction and working towards their restoration.
